Hi Sandhya, I look forward to reading a review from you about The boy in the dress :-) Yes, Amelia Bedelia is fun isn't she, although the only one I've read with M didn't quite work as there were too many linguistic puns - I need to try it again when she's a bit older perhaps. Of to your blog now!

I would also like to suggest some books that we really found funny, and have been read and re-read many times over accompanied by helpless laughter. One is the Amelia Bedelia series by Peggy Parish and Herman Parish. Two are most books by Dr. Seuss. Three is a book we read recently. 'Younguncle comes to town' by Vandana Singh. A review here:

Hey, this is an activity tailor-made for us, if you'll excuse the pun! We had sometime ago aquired a bunch of scraps from the tailor, and were wondering what activity to use them for.
Of your list of books, we have recently bought "The Boy in the Dress". For two reasons: we love Quentin Blake, and A is at a stage when anything that makes a boy looks silly is cool, and we thought the book would be a fun read. So we shall proceed to read it ASAP.
