I’m so glad to see you’ve made it to our new site:

http://www.playingbythebook.net/

As you can see I’ve made a few small changes to the blog, but nothing major, and in terms of content, from the next post we’ll be back to reviewing books and sharing the crazy things we’ve been inspired to get up to. Please, if you find something not working in this new site (e.g. a link), or if you’ve got a suggestion about what you’d like to see here a comment would be much appreciated.

So now the giveaway…

  • You can win one copy of the book of your choice from those that I’ve reviewed here on Playing by the book.
  • I will also donate a copy of your choice of book to M’s school library.
  • To enter the giveaway simply leave a comment stating which book you’d like to win at the end of this post!

  • The giveaway is open worldwide.
  • The giveaway closes Monday 9 November 6am UK time. I’ll announce the winner (randomly selected) later that day.
  • The following actions will each gain you an extra entry to the giveaway if you let me know about them:
    *Tweeting about this giveaway/this site.
*Linking back to this giveaway/site on your own blog.
  • Good luck! I’m looking forward to reading your comments :-)

Wow I’m the first commenter on your new site. Hope your new site goes well. I’ll link you on my blog soon.
It’s a hard choice. I have to say Tickle the Duck. It’s the first blog entry I read and the book sounds like it would be really fun for both my girls. I was tempted to say Magic Beach as Alison Lester is my eldest’s very favourite author.

Congrats on your site. Now about that book give-away. I am always on the lookout for children’s history books for my blog, http://www.historyforchildren.blogspot.com, so, of course, I would love to get my hands on Stone Girl Bone Girl :)

If Not for the Cat by Prelutsky would be my choice. We don’t own any of his books yet and really should own a couple written by the first US Children’s Poet Laureate!
