Our favourite books and a thank you

johnny_automatic_children_reading_1I hope you’ve all had lovely weekends wherever you might be and that you’ve managed to squeeze in some reading and playing along the way. Before resuming normal posting tomorrow I just wanted to let you know about a short new page I’ve added to Playing by the book – The best of the best. This is a page I’ll update regularly to list our 5 favourite books of those we’ve reviewed here on Playing by the book.

And then I also wanted to say *thank you* for taking the time to read my blog and to comment – because of you I’ve rather miraculously made it into the list of the top 100 UK parent blogs! So yes, a big thank you from me – looking forward to seeing you later in the week.

    I agree that you deserve it – a blog that encourages and supports families to read more, craft more and enjoy their lives as a family. Should be mandatory!
