New year – maybe a new look!

Yes, I’m trying out a new look for the blog – there’s still lots I need to tweak so please bear with me if things chop and change a little on the visual front in the next few days – and in the meantime I’d be grateful for any feedback about additions and changes you’d think would improve the blog!
