Gifts from book illustrators – David Melling

Posted on | November 20, 2011 | 3 Comments

David Melling is well known and loved for many of his picture books including The Kiss That Missed, Hugless Douglas and The Tale of Jack Frost. He has been shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal and the Smarties Book Award. You can buy a selection of prints made from his illustrations in his online shop.

I particularly like this panoramic image of Jack Frost:

And also this one of Hugless Douglas:

Thanks for this. We loved Hugless Douglas, but I’ve never seen the Tale of Jack Frost. Sounds perfect for Winter!
