Nominate your favourite children’s book from the last year

Posted on | September 30, 2012 | 1 Comment

Nominations open tomorrow for the Children and Young Adult Bloggers’ Literaray Awards, aka The Cybils.

Is there a children’s /YA book you think is the best-of-the-best which was published during the last year?

Why not nominate if for a Cybils award? Anyone may nominate one book per genre during the public nomination period (slightly different rules cover publishers and publicists – check out the full FAQ for details).

To nominate a book you’ll need to visit http://www.cybils.com/ sometime between October 1-15 (ie over the next two weeks) where you’ll find an online (mobile friendly) form to fill in.

Any English or bilingual children’s/ YA book published in the U.S. or Canada between Oct. 16, 2011 and Oct. 15, 2012 is eligible so get your thinking caps on and submit a nomination!

I’ve a vested interest in all of this as, once again, I’m a Cybils Judge, in the Easy Readers and Short Chapter Books Category. I had a wonderful time last year working with a great team of fellow judges and can’t wait to do it all again.

Now off to choose the books I’m going to nominate….
