Another lovely giveaway today as part of my celebrations for Picture Book Month! Today’s topic is Around the World and here’s what you could win:

The bundle contains one copy of each of the following:

  • Ebele’s Favourite: A Book of African Games by Ifeoma Onyefulu
  • Yikang’s Day: From Dawn to Dusk in a Chinese City by Sungwan So
  • J is for Jamaica by Benjamin Zephaniah and Prodeepta Das

  • These are three fascinating books which give an insight into children’s lives in very different parts of the world. Ebele’s Favourite includes descriptions of 10 traditional Nigerian games. Yikang’s Day is part of the series A Child’s Day, photographic information books concentrating on the daily lives and experiences of children in countries around the world, published in association with Oxfam. J is for Jamaica is a rhyming introduction to life on this Caribbean island. All are great for widening horizons and would be lovely to share at home as well as in schools.

Thank you for this generous giveaway. We are a multicultural family so if we won these books it would widen our horizons even more!

These look fantastic! If by any remote chance I won them I’d take them to share with my son’s (very multicultural) nursery.

How wonderful that the giveaway is worldwide. So often competitions are only for the UK or US and we can only watch from afar. lovely selection of books too.

Would love these! Books showing other parts of the world AND in English are doubly hard to come by around my neck of the woods. Thanks!
